Please refer to the Blog post link to explore all published posts. I am preparing steel posts using the metric version of solved problems based on the AISC design, using metrication for the practice problems. I am adding quizzes to ensure that the published posts are interesting.
I want to introduce the following book titles for structural steel design.
The first book is Unified Design of Steel Structures by Louis F. Geschwinder, Judi Liu, and Charles J. Carter. The latest revision is the fourth edition.
The second book is Steel Design by WILLIAM T. Segui. The latest version is the 7th edition.
For metric Design. Refer to Steel Structures by Zahid Ahmad SIDDIQI.
There are plenty of books on the mechanics of materials. The first book to recommend is
Timothy A. Philpot, Mechanics of materials _ An integrated learning system, John Wiley (2017). He provided a nice movie link to simplify MecMovies 4.0.
Mechanics of Materials, 8th Edition, By Ferdinand Beer, E. Johnston, John DeWolf, and David Mazurek.
There are useful engineering statics interesting data, such as open and interactive. Here is the link.
